Arva SEO
Arva SEO review and pricing: a step-by-step SEO workspace for business owners, with a free plan for one site and AI assistant connections.
Overview
Arva SEO is an SEO workspace built for business owners doing their own SEO. It walks your site through ten steps, from setup to reporting, and says what to do next in plain words.
It audits pages with about 60 checks, tracks rankings weekly, researches keywords, watches backlinks and covers local SEO. Paid plans also track keywords in Google's AI answers. A free WordPress plugin speeds up the site and sends titles and drafts to it.
You can connect Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Grok and work by asking. We haven't used it for this page; it relies on Arva SEO's pricing page and homepage.
Best for
Small business owners who want to do their own SEO step by step without hiring an agency.

Pros
- Real free plan. One website gets audits, rank tracking and keyword research with no card.
- Plain-words steps. Each job is explained and shows which pages it affects.
- Works with your AI. Every plan connects to Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Grok, and that work doesn't use Arva's AI credits.
- WordPress plugin. The free plugin handles speed fixes, a security scan and sending drafts to your site.
Cons
- Weekly rankings. Rank tracking checks the top 20 positions once a week; daily updates are an add-on.
- AI answer checks need your own key. To see whether ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini mention you, you add your own OpenAI, Anthropic or Gemini API key, billed separately by that provider.
- Idle free accounts close. A Free workspace nobody uses for 90 days is closed after three email reminders.
How it compares
Arva SEO and Surfer both help pages rank. Surfer centers on a content editor for pages that rank on Google and get cited in AI answers, aimed at content and SEO teams. Arva covers the whole job, from audits and keywords to rank tracking and reports, and explains each step.
Pick Arva if you're an owner starting out or want a free plan. Pick Surfer if you publish a lot and mainly need to tune content.
